Geomatic Resources is the exclusive Leica Geosystems Surveying Equipment dealer for North Texas and Oklahoma. We maintain a large and growing network of permanent GPS base stations known as Geonet, which allow our customers to achieve Survey Grade NAD83 or NAD27 state plane coordinates in real-time “right out of the truck”.  While we have invested in the base station infrastructure and a 4000 square foot training and support center, we believe that the greatest resource we offer is our people.

Meet the Team:

Rodney P. Walsh, PLS (Email)

is the Managing Partner and main sales/rental contact for the company. Rodney is a Licensed Land Surveyor (Louisiana) and has 16 years of experience with all types of GPS Surveying. Before joining the ownership of Geomatic Resources in 2005, Rodney was the North Central USA regional manager for Leica Geosystems. Rodney has a unique understanding of the challenges his customers face having been in charge of 6 crews and all functions of the Surveying Division of SJB Group in Baton Rouge Louisiana from 2001 through 2004. David E. Rowlett (Email)

is the Director of Technical Support for Geomatic Resources. Dave has been supporting Texas Surveyors using Leica GPS, Robots, and Total Stations since retiring from the Coast Guard in 2001. With the Coast Guard he was involved with the utilization of GPS positioning from the beginning, and was responsible for the construction of several GPS beacon stations along the Gulf Coast. Since 2002 Dave has installed over 40 permanent GPS base stations in Texas. Dave has practical experience in 3D Machine Control and has completed Masters level GIS classes. C. John Clark, P.E. (Email)

founded Geomatic Resources in January of 2004. John is a Licensed Professional Engineer (Civil) in Texas. From 1996 through 2004 John held various positions with Leica Geosystems including Regional Vice President - South Central USA. John is a leading supporter of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors. He has been the program speaker at numerous chapter meetings around the state, and has been an exhibitor/sponsor at the annual convention for 12 consecutive years. John also has experience in Highway Design and Construction from his 8 years with TxDOT. Read more about John… More Info

Ronna J. Stenger (Email)

is the Inside Sales Coordinator and main contact for Repair Service. Ronna has 20 years of experience in customer service. A mother of 3 and grandmother of 3, Ronna keeps the trains running on time with a firm but friendly hand. As a native of Grapevine, she is proud to offer the services of Geomatic Resources through our service and support center located adjacent to the DFW airport and in her hometown.

Cathy A. Clark (Email)

is the Accounting Manager for Geomatic Resources and the main contact for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Cathy has 10 years of experience running a small business. She enjoys working with customers and is committed to seeing every account handled fairly and in a timely manner.
